SAFETY RULES

  1.  Treat all guns as if they’re loaded
  2. Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot
  4. Do not point your gun at anything that you do not intend to kill or destroy
  5. Know your target and what’s beyond it
  6. Never attempt to catch a falling firearm

 

Memorize these safety rules as unsafe behavior is frowned upon

All trainings will be conducted outdoors unless previously discussed, prepare for the elements accordingly.  Boots or running shoes are recommended. Clothing that does not restrict movement are recommended.

Courses are non-refundable, however, we can reschedule within 90 days.  After 90 days funds will be forfeited.

If you do not have a gun A1 can provide loaner firearms for those clients who need the use of a firearm for duration of course.  There will be an assessed $15 cleaning fee for loaners.

Course of fire (LTC) as follows:

Profinciency Demonstration Requirements:

  • Fire 50 rounds at a B-27 target (24″ wide x 45″ tall)
  • Standing position with pistol aimed in at target
  • Score a minimum of 175 out of a possible 250 points (70% required to pass)
 
Twenty shots  – 3 yard line:
1 shot in 2 seconds, 5 times
2 shots in 3 seconds, 5 times
5 shots in 10 seconds, once
 
Twenty shots – 7 yard line:
5 shots in 10 seconds, once
1 shot in 3 seconds, 5 times 2 shots in 4 seconds, once 3 shots in 6 seconds, once 5 shots in 15 seconds, once
 
Ten shots – 15 yard line:
2 shots in 6 seconds, once
3 shots in 9 seconds, once
5 shots in 15 seconds, once
 
Scoring:
8, 9, 10, and X rings = 5 points
7 ring = 4 points
on target, outside of rings = 3 points
Blank paper or off paper = 0 points
